Terms of Service

Basework provides apps that run inside your Shopify admin. Basework AI Translations is generally available. Basework Subscriptions is in development and is not offered for sale. Features described as planned or coming soon are not part of the service today.

You must have authority to install apps on the store you connect. You are responsible for the content you submit for translation and for ensuring you have the rights to it.

Subscriptions and word packs are charged through Shopify Billing and appear on your Shopify invoice. Charges are approved by you in your Shopify admin. Plan changes take effect according to Shopify's billing cycle, and word packs are non-refundable once consumed.

Do not use Basework to process unlawful content, to attempt to circumvent usage limits, or to resell the service without a written agreement with us.

Translations are machine generated and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing translations before publishing them, particularly legal, safety and regulatory content. Editing and history tools are provided for this purpose.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Support is provided by email at tom@thedigitalhub.uk.

You may uninstall a Basework app at any time from your Shopify admin. Published translations remain in your Shopify store. We may suspend access for breach of these terms or non-payment.

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost sales.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date above and, where required, notified in the app.
